Terms of service
Last updated November 7, 2026. These terms cover every website and care plan made and run by Tabtide, based in South Florida.
How you agree to these terms
Before we start, you get a proposal: the pages and features we’ll build, the price and the timeline. When you accept your proposal and pay the deposit, you agree to these terms and to your proposal together.
If your proposal and these terms ever say different things, your proposal wins.
Paying for your website
You pay half of the website price when you accept your proposal, and the other half when your site is ready to go live. We put the site on your domain once it’s paid in full.
You can pay by bank transfer or by card. If you cancel before we start work, we refund your deposit in full. Once work has started, the deposit isn’t refundable, and we hand over everything finished so far.
What we need from you
Your photos, hours, menu or prices, and anything else your proposal lists. You confirm that what you give us is accurate and that you have the right to use it.
If we’re waiting on you for more than 30 days, we may pause your project and agree a new launch date with you.
Changes while we build
You get two rounds of changes on a private preview of your site before launch. Anything beyond that, or a page or feature that isn’t in your proposal, is priced as extra work, and we tell you the price before we start.
Photos and honest content
We use your own photos, photos free to use commercially, and AI-made images for backgrounds and texture. We never invent your staff, your food, your reviews or your numbers.
Every image we use is licensed for your website.
Your domain
Your domain is registered in your name. Your first year is included in your website price. After that, your care plan renews it every year, or you renew it yourself.
Who owns what
Once you’ve paid in full, your site and everything written and made for it are yours. Some building blocks we reuse across sites stay ours, and you have a permanent right to use them in your site.
We may show your site in our work, unless you ask us not to.
Care plans
Your first month of care is free. After that, your plan is billed each month by bank transfer or card. There’s no contract: cancel anytime, and your plan runs to the end of the month you’ve paid for.
A small change is one that takes up to about 30 minutes: new hours, a price, a line of text, a photo. Changes you don’t use in a month don’t carry over. We reply within one business day, Monday to Friday.
Without a care plan
Your site stays yours and stays online. We move it to your own free hosting account and hand it over to you, and you renew your domain yourself.
Changes are priced from our change menu on the Rates page: $35 for a small change (or five at once for $75), $150 for a new section on a page and $300 for a new page. Anything bigger gets a fixed price that you approve before we start. You always know the price first.
Services we rely on
Your site runs on services such as Cloudflare for hosting, and may use others for forms or booking. If one of them has an outage or changes how it works, we fix what we can as quickly as we can, but we can’t control them.
Limits
We build your site with care, but we can’t promise search rankings, visitors or sales.
If something goes wrong, the most we’re responsible for is what you’ve paid us in the 12 months before. We aren’t responsible for lost profits or other indirect losses.
Ending early
Either of us can end a project early by telling the other. You pay for the work done up to then, and we hand over everything finished.
Florida law
These terms follow the laws of the State of Florida. If we ever disagree, we’ll first try to sort it out by talking.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the new version goes on this page with a new date. The terms you agreed to with your proposal stay the same for that project.
